Half-Day is four hours and Full-Day is eight hours. All-Inclusive Half-Day includes the private transfers within its four hours. The team confirms the pickup, meeting and return arrangements for your chosen experience; do not assume that every product has the same starting point.

Choose Half-Day for one clear priority and a compact introduction to Sintra. Full-Day gives more room for a monument visit, lunch, the historic centre and a coast route. The exact balance is agreed during planning. Compare the two durations and group prices →

Our recommendation is to choose the shape of the day first: one monument with the coast and Cascais; two monuments with the historic centre and possibly one coast stop; or three monuments focused on Sintra. We usually recommend the terraces for the colours, views and setting. Choose the official Visit to the Park of Pena ↗ option that includes the terraces. Palace rooms are a different visit. Allow for the walk from the park entrance to the palace.

Yes. All-Inclusive includes hotel pickup in Sintra, as well as Lisbon or Cascais. Personalized starts at an agreed point in Sintra; hotel transfers are an optional extra. Confirm the arrangements for your product and accommodation with the team.

Cascais can be part of a Full-Day plan. If you are staying at a hotel in Sintra and your All-Inclusive route ends in Cascais, the driver collects you at the time agreed during planning and takes you back to your Sintra hotel. Staying longer or changing the return needs to be agreed with the team.

Yes. A train or Uber to Sintra, official monument tickets and a realistic route can make a good independent day. Reaching Sintra and moving between its monuments are separate parts of the plan. See transport prices and journey estimates →.

All-Inclusive includes the tickets for the monument visits agreed in your plan, arranged by the YYD team. For Personalized, tickets are separate and the team guides you on timing and choices. Coordinate the route before buying, and avoid purchasing tickets twice if they are already included.

A traditional Portuguese lunch is included with Full-Day All-Inclusive. Lunch is not included with Half-Day All-Inclusive. Meals on Personalized tours are paid separately.

Colares Wine Tasting includes four local wines. It costs €35 per guest on Personalized tours and is included in All-Inclusive when chosen as an activity. Signature Fortified Wine Tasting includes eight fortified wines at Bar do Binho: €90 per guest on Personalized, or an upgrade for an additional €55 per guest on All-Inclusive. The upgrade replaces the standard tasting. Half-Day compatibility depends on the route and timing; Paulo Cruz's presence is not guaranteed.

It depends on the places you choose. Regaleira has slopes, uneven paths and steps. Monserrate requires a significant descent to the palace and an uphill return; the gardens add more walking. The Moorish Castle has exposed walls and many steps. Tell the team about any access requirement you need confirmed before choosing; no route should be assumed step-free.

Our tuk-tuk experiences are generally suitable for children aged six and above. For younger children, we arrange a private car or van. The team confirms the vehicle and the arrangements for your group.
